A quarantine is the ONLY way to reduce our risk.
No one who has been in an ebola epidemic region should be allowed into the USA until 30 days have passed since their exit from that type of region.
We can make exceptions for medical personal who have no symptoms as long as they do NOT fly scheduled air or arrive with the general air-traveling population.
Anything short of this INCREASES our risk.
Politicians who tell us otherwise and elected officials and bureaucrats who do otherwise are endangering us all.
And for this they should be CHARGED WITH PUBLIC AND/OR RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT.
Reckless endangerment is a crime consisting of acts that create a substantial risk of serious physical injury to another person. The accused person isn't required to intend the resulting or potential harm, but must have acted in a way that showed a disregard for the foreseeable consequences of the actions. The charge may occur in various contexts, such as, among others, domestic cases, car accidents, construction site accidents, testing sites, domestic/child abuse situations, and hospital abuse. State laws and penalties vary, so local laws should be consulted.
This is at least a gross misdemeanor and is therefore an IMPEACHABLE offense.
